My Progress
Our city is growing and moving ahead. We must continue to grow and move with it as we discover even more innovative ways to distribute information to the community.
See below for my progress as clerk during my first term:
Attended 469 council and committee meetings, processed 337 hours of minutes, 221 ordinances, 154 resolutions and 10,921 parking tickets bringing in $194,720 in revenue for the city
Led the legislative process through 2 years of Covid
Led construction project of 3 at large council offices
Organized and restructured clerk's office to accommodate Covid along with creating a more productive office
Streamlined legislative agenda building process with the adoption of software
Collaborated with county officials to update technology in council chambers
Began a radio broadcast, “Agenda Review” as another means of getting information to the public about upcoming bills, ordinances, and resolutions
Created a short video explaining the legislative process
Designed an interactive form that can be found on the city clerk’s website for individuals who want to share their concerns with council members
